buting a used car

when you buy a used car it is still new ,to the buyer.

ahh yes... but for how long? a day? a week?

let's say you introduced your new girlfriend to your parents... "Mom, Dad, this is my new girlfriend"
(regardless of if she is bran new or simply new to you)....
my point is that if you all ran into eachother again the next day.... they would already be familiar, no longer "new", you wouldn't re-introduce them all.

ok, so my rambling really doesn't have anything to do with cars... but then again, the topic as a whole isn't, the object just happened to be a car. ("buying" OR "buting")

I've looked for a new car in the used lots and always get a weird look, but if I'm going to get something different, it's new!
